Enderlin Museum
Experience the History, Adventure and Legends
The Enderlin Museum is housed in a beautiful two-story brick building which was built in 1927 as a Masonic Lodge. The Lodge surrendered its charter in 1982 and the Historical Society purchased the building in 1990. The building still maintains its beautiful hardwood floors on both levels, has fine woodwork, two large auditorium exhibit areas plus many smaller rooms. Most of the building remains unchanged from the time it was built. As the Masonic Temple, it once served as a focal point in the community hosting many of the most important events. It occupies a prominent place on the city’s main street next to the City Auditorium which was constructed in a similar style. As a Museum, it is filled with artifacts and exhibits depicting the area’s unique history with special displays of the Soo Line Railroad and early baseball as well as the military, agriculture, family histories and other local exhibits, including a research area.
The Museum is open May through September with the following hours:
Thursday and Friday – 1 to 4 p.m. and Saturday – 9 to noon or by appointment at 701-799-0725 or 701-793-9743
